I have created a new depreciation area 11. In OABC it is set as 01 (values from book depreciation). In OAYZ, I have assigned the new depreciation area to new asset classes. Then I transferred to value from old assets to new assets by ABUMN and run AFBN for opening the new depreciation area.

"In AW01N, I can see the new depreciation area for the asset but with zero value. In the transactions I see the transfer with transaction type 158 and with zero value for the new area. The transaction type taken for book depreciation is 310 and has the correct value."

In our company there are 3 depreciation areas for assets. And my problem is that when I try to look through the accounts in depr.areas, I see the same accounts in all areas as in main one. But the account should be different in accordance to AO90 and dep. areas. When I run ASKBN to provide postings in GL, my accounts in AW01N for areas are not changed - Debit and Credit are the same for all.

One user created asset under wrong asset class and one month depreciation was posted of that wrong asset. in the month of september. Now user has created new asset under proper asset class and made balance transfer from wrong asset to newly created asset through ABUMN in month of October i.e, period 7. In ABUMN we have transfered to New Asset field. After successful balance transfer old asset become deactivated and balance has come to new asset but through AW01N I cannot see the balance which is showing blank under planned value, posted values. We have area 31 as the inflation area for México, but in transaction AW01N the planned values for depreciation of the inflation appers all in the first month, and from month 2 to 12 the value is 0.00 (zero)

In t-code AW01N ,we can see all the asset related objects such as Vendor, POs ,GL a/c and Costcenter in left side of the screen under "Objects related to asset".

We have multiple depreciation areas, in that we have 22 area and 23 area. These two area parameters are same like currency and depreciation key. If i see the assets in AW01N planned and posting values are coming for 22 area and not for 23 area. I am getting 'There is no depreciation' message in 23 area.

We have procured as asset dated 01.10.2009, for rs 1,00,000 While calculating IT Deprecation in AW01N it is shwoing 7,479.00- under IT Deprecation
