SAP RSDKYF Table: Key figures

I need to define a new key figure for Ownership and Rate infoProviders so I created ZRTC_AMO.

"We had some problems so that it took the changes of the new domain, even when we made the change in the RSDKYF table it was necessary to re-activate the Data element; We could not do this from Hana Studio, so it was necessary to do it from the RSD1 transaction using the trick of putting NOHDB to be able to edit the object directly in S/4."

Even though we have the fields based modeling in BW Powered by HANA and also in BW/4HANA, the importance of infoobjects cannot be ignored.

Although the RTC implementation documentation implies the use of the standard key figure /ERP/RTC_AMO, this InfoObject in fact is not part of the RTC BI Content, as stated in SAP Note 2460119 – Missing Key Figure /ERP/RTC_AMO and Characteristic /ERP/RTCMODEL in System of Real-Time Consolidation.

I have a flatfile which contains Data involving char and dec. So I created a infoobject for my primarykey and created in the same step the other infoobjects as attributes. Afterwards I did the Transformation etc.. Everything worked out, but at the end when I openend my data in SAP, All numbers now are Integers. Moreover all 0 are not shown.

I have a BODS based data source from which I am getting a jey figure like DEC 7 upto 4 decimals places. Now I have created a  Key figure Infoobject of NUMC type(DEC 17 upto 3 decimals please) . This has result in rolling of decimals places from 4 to 3 decimals please. My load are working fine except the rounding of key figures in DSO from 4 decimal(from Datasource) to 3 decimals please. But business want to retain 4 decimals places.

I've faced a problem in BW where I should get the type of a variable in ABAP. I need the type itself as a STRING to further processing.

"well, if you know the name of the variable, you can read table rszglobv. There you get the infoobject the variable points to. With this information you can read table rsdiobj. For characteristics (basically thats what you get) read table rsdchabas and you get datatype and length, for keyfigures it's table RSDKYF."

I have an key figure with length 17 and datatype DEC but the source length for this field is 20. Hence I wish to change the length of key figure greater than or equal to 20. But I'm not able to change. Also if I try to create a new key figure I'm not able to create key figure with length greater than 20. So kindly plz guide me how to create r change key figure.

This was accidental, so I have changed the key figure to have no scaling factor and then activated it.

You can change the decimal places in the Infoobject maintenance (Business Explorer tab). Also, you can change the settings in the properties of the key figure (Unit Cost) in the query.
